Description: Tai Chi (tie chee) classes are a theraeutic and holistic approach which educate, guide and empower the participants, resulting in improved balance, greater flexibility and an overall sense of well-being. Endorsed by Harvard Medical School, the AMA and the American Arthritis Foundation, Tai Chi is known to be effective for problems related to stress, anxiety, depression, blood pressure, chronic pain, sleep and memory. Unlike traditional exercise, Tai Chi will train your mind to focus and direct the energy of Qi (Chi) through your body to improve your strength, balance, flexibility and range of motion. This coordinated application of mind, body and breath is a scientifically effective therapy used to strengthen the immune system, digestive and circulatory systems, skeletal, neurological, and muscular systems of the body. It further improves your ability to actively replicate healthy brain cells. Yes, Tai Chi can help you to regenerate healthy cells of all kind. Good thing that includes the brain.
