Description

Learn to play the ultimate card game! It will stimulate the mind with the suspense of poker, the cerebral qualities of chess, and the excitement of sports. All in a sociable setting where you are a participant, not just a spectator. Welcome to the wonderful world of BRIDGE. The beginner's class is designed for those with little or no experience. We will follow Audrey Grant's Club Series starting with Bidding in the 21st Century. The text is available for $20. This class will combine lecture, slide presentation and use of online bridge games to practice playing and kibitzing with your classmates. Enjoy taking this class in the comfort and safety of your own home and learn one the most exciting games. Previous experience with Zoom or BBO is not required. Instructor Shawn Warren, MEd joined the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) in 1978, became a Life Master in 1983 (at the ripe old age of 20), a bridge accredited teacher in 1985, and a director in 2013, accumulating some 1900 master points along the way. She feels teaching is her way of paying it forward and is experienced teaching in-person as well as online. You'll be in good hands.
