Class Information for Fall 2017: HIKE THE WHITE TANK MOUNTAIN REGIONAL PARK, 10:00 am-Noon, Tuesday, November 14, Meet at the Visitor Center just outside the park (7016)
Join White Tank Mountain Regional Park Ranger Jessica Bland, an archaeologist, on a hike back in time on the Black Rock and Petroglyph Plaza Archaeology Walk. This 2-mile, mostly flat, hike provides a great opportunity to see petroglyphs and other artifacts as well as learn about the science of archaeology and what it can and can’t tell us about the past. Trails are fairly easy. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring binoculars, water and a camera. Class fee includes entrance fee to the park.
