Learn simple and effective techniques to relax and revitalize your body. A little stiff here and there in your body? Missing the massages that you used to get before COVID-19? During this class you will learn some simple techniques that you can do to release stress and tension in your body to relax, alleviate pain and revitalize your body. These tools you will explore during this class include breath work, gentle movements and self-massage of your shoulders, ears, hands and feet. The only requirements for this class are a curious mind and a tennis ball. Most of these practices can be done sitting in a chair. This will be an interactive class on Zoom with time for questions. Instructor, Leslie Cook, Senior Trainer for the Integral Institute of Qigong and Tai Chi, is a certified teacher in Qigong, Tai Chi, and Yoga; along with being a certified personal trainer. By combining these different modalities, she brings together the best of ancient practices and modern movement science. Leslie is founder and owner of Mindful Movement Wellness, LLC and is focused on 'empowering people to connect with their natural healing resources'.
