Writing a memoir doesn’t have to be scary. Here you’ll learn how to write the story of your life and have fun doing it. Bring pen and paper, because you’ll be writing. You will be well on your way to finishing your memoir when you complete this class. Betty Webb has a fantastic and simple approach to preparing, writing and publishing memoir. This class is back by popular demand.... Instructor Betty Webb is the author of the nationally best-selling Lena Jones mystery series and the humorous Gunn Zoo mysteries. Before beginning to write full time, Betty worked as a journalist, interviewing everyone from U.S. presidents, astronauts who walked on the moon, Nobel Prize-winners, and polygamy runaways. She is and has been a nationally-syndicated literary critic for more than 20 years. For the past 10 years, she has been a columnist and reviewer for Mystery Scene Magazine. Among the classes & workshops Betty teaches are: “Writing the Contemporary Novel,” “Writing the Mystery Novel and Thriller,” “Get Five Story Ideas a Day, Every Day,” and “Writing the Memoir/Family History.” Besides teaching creative writing, Betty has been a panelist at various national writers’ conferences.
